Home Customer Utilities


Upon account activation with MegaPOP, you will have direct access to the password-protected areas of our Web site where you can find all the information and tools you may possibly need to better service your customers.

The following is a brief description of the utilities that will be available to you at no additional charge when you sign up for our services.

Network Operations Center (NOC)
The Network Operations Center customer utility is a major resource for any information about the status of the network, to get network updates, and for real-time visibility of your customer activity on the network.

  • Current Status: Reports of network status, trouble, ongoing maintenance, etc.
  • Connection Monitor: View your users online in real-time
  • Upcoming Maintenance: View scheduled network upgrades, changes, etc.
  • NOC Contact List

    Utilities
    All the tools that you may need to handle the daily management of your ISP:

  • Account Manager: Online interface for creating, modifying, deleting, and creating summarized reports about your accounts in real-time. Applicable to customers using MegaPOP's RADIUS servers only.

  • Ticket System: Open a Trouble Ticket for any issues related to network problems. Additionally, this tool can be used to manage static IPs (for Dial Up use only). When a new trouble ticket is opened, a "ticket number" will be assigned.

  • Call Finder: This is an optional service. For customers who purchase this utility, this is how you access the file, learn how to set it up and incorporate the tool into your Web site.

  • E-mail List Management: Add or delete the e-mail addresses that receive important notifications such as 'Upcoming Maintenance' and 'Network Status Reports'.

  • PPP Stats: Gather hourly usage and unique login information for your account.

  • PPP ISDN Stats: Gather hourly usage and unique login information for your ISDN users.
  • Access Number Center
    Updated access locations data for your convenience.

  • Access Locations by State: Basic 'Text only' file

  • Comma-Delimited Access Locations: Use to import to databases, etc.

  • Locations by POP: Access locations/numbers separated-out as they relate to each POP site


  • Network Files

  • IP Addresses: All current pools of IPs used for Dial Up assignment sorted by POP code with location names

  • IP Addresses (For e-mail allowable files): IP blocks in use in the preferred format for e-mail "allowable files" (without "extra" details in file above)
  • Set Up Forms

  • All the forms that you may need to fill out in order to add additional services gathered in one section.

    Contract

  • All documents related to signing up or adding MegaPOP's services gathered in one section.

    Help (FAQ)
    Data gathered by our NOC team to assist ISPs with commonly asked questions.
